This is quicker and easier than going through and editing the band style. If you want, it also allows you to use the same band style without making a copy, you just have to change the data source.Andrew Pullerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07115767800034710605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2678535875483844943.post-64802422581285671702011-08-30T13:58:47.899+01:002011-08-30T13:58:47.899+01:00Hi R.K.,

Below is his reply.

Hi there,

To get the GPS feature working, I suggest the following:

1. Ensure your co-ordinate enabled DWF(x) published correctly out of your Civil 3D or Map 3D software. If it did, you will see the co-ordinates displayed and tracked in Design Review at the bottom of the screen.

2. Connect the GPS device (install driver) prior to any session with ADR. Open ADR, then run the GPS connect option. Once successfully connected, ADR usually remembers the device, so future activation is a just a ctrl+j keystroke.

3. I have successfully evaluated the feature with the following GPS mouse:
http://www.amazon.com/RGM-3600-Royaltek-SiRF-Waterproof-Receiver/dp/B000RPM3IK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=miscellaneous&qid=1247057016&sr=8-1

4. Just noticed via Volker's blog, that Autodesk Design Review's help documentation is now available on the internet, if you need to check spec or procedure:
http://www.autodesk.com/designreview-help

Regards,

Trev.Harold Albertohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03215872786948266034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2678535875483844943.post-60621749258048127172009-07-08T08:43:04.278+01:002009-07-08T08:43:04.278+01:00Hi,

I tend to use a combination of corridor and grading for ones with corners. Cul-de-sacs with curves can be done using corridor modelling alone.

The subassembly "Markedpoint" and the new 2009 feature that lets you create dynamic featurelines from corridors would come in handy. If you send me a screenshot of the cul-de-sac you are working on, I'll try to suggest accordingly.

Cheers,
Harold
harold.alberto@gmail.comHarold Albertohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03215872786948266034noreply@blogger.com
